Brief History

Chinese Medicine - Five ElementsKinesiology was first developed by chiropracter Dr. George Goodheart in the 1960s. What is Touch for Health Kinesiology?

Touch for Health Muscle TestingGentle pressure is applied on an arm or leg to obtain information about the quality of response of a muscle. Muscles all over the body can be accessed by using the arms or legs. This allows information to be gathered and the client and practitioner to work together to understand where the imbalances lie. The same muscles tests can be explored to identify what can restore balance to the body.

Imbalances are addressed by using a variety of safe, gentle techniques such as working with neuro-lymphatic massage points, working directly on the muscle, acupressure holding points, meridian pathways, nutritional changes or working with emotional responses.

All aspects of the body are taken into consideration to reach optimum physical, emotional and biochemical balance. In this way the body becomes more effective in it's functioning and is better able to reduce its own imbalances, symptoms or illness.
